Johnny and I had great pleasure in visiting Carew Castle for the second weekend in a row, for yet another exciting investigation, this time with Spooks Paranormal Investigators.

Johnny steered me into this group some time ago because he wants me to work with them as an investigations medium. The way he did this was amazing!. For weeks he kept saying to me "Seriously Spooky", I told him I don`t get spooked and he told me that wasn`t what he meant, that I will find out in due course. Several weeks later a lady came through my till at the store I worked in, wearing a "Spooks" jacket. I mentioned to her I work with spirit and she said she is the local medium for Spooks and they need more mediums. She asked if I would be interested and if I would like the website address... before I could reply Johnny said "Yes!" so I told her I would like to think about it. She wrote down the website address and handed it to me, at the time it was www.seriouslyspooky.co.uk... I nearly fell off my seat when I read it, and Johnny said "See, that`s what I was leading you to!". Anyway I applied for membership but this was the first opportunity I had to investigate with them.

Last week was wet and cold and I had asked Johnny if it will be the same again this week. He told me "No, it will be dry". The weather was just the same when I left home saturday morning, but by the time I reached the castle it was dry and warm with a few nice patches of blue sky!. The plan all along had been to leave home in time for the 11.29 train from Neath to Pembroke Dock. But I felt that would be too long hanging around at the castle before the investigation started at 8pm, so I asked Johnny if it would be better to catch a later train. He replied "No, You must catch the 11.29" so I did. However the train was delayed by about 6 minutes, it didn`t seem too much so I wasn`t that worried, but by the time it got to Pembroke Dock I had missed a bus to the castle and the next one wasn`t for over 2 hours!. I took the opportunity to find somewhere to eat and waited around for the 4.17pm bus... which I then found out was actually the last one of the day, if I had taken a later train and it was delayed I might not have had a bus at the other end at all!. I could have taken a taxi but it didn`t seem worth the cost since I still had plenty of time, however the castle was closing to the public at 5pm and I didn`t feel it was worth going inside for that amount of time, so I walked all around the castle and to the mill taking photo`s I was hoping to take last week but couldn`t!. (Besides my spiritual work with Johnny I am also a photographer, so on occasions like this I try to combine the two!)

Anyway once the intital meetings and introductions had taken place we began the investigation. We were split into two teams, red and blue, Johnny joked about "red and blue corners" so I said to friends in my group "we`re in the red corner", which they understood and laughed at as I had already told them about Johnny. Our team started with the kitchen, chapel and mainly inside locations. I picked up on quite a few things which the medium I was working with agreed with or confirmed.

In the chapel as soon as we got to the door we were met with the same unwelcoming entity I picked up on last week, as if he was trying to stop us coming in. Between us we found out he was a knight protector of the castle and Princess Nest, and as I found out last week, he does not like paranormal investigators!. I asked Johnny about him and the name I heard was something like "Sir Gawayne", when I said it out loud someone else said another very similar name which I feel they already knew about, so it confirmed what I heard was on the right lines. Johnny then said "You MUST remember to call him Sir, he doesn`t like the way people forget this and it makes him angry", so I mentioned this and we continued calling him Sir, he then gradually calmed his energy and allowed us to move around, although we know he followed us around keeping an eye on us!.
I asked Johnny as it`s the chapel, why does it seem very unwelcoming?. He said it was a sanctuary for Princess Nest and we were intruding. It was also picked up that it is where she was married.

A little girl spirit, thought to be aged between 8 and 12, had been detected and tried to speak through one of the group. When we went into the small rooms next to the chapel, just like last week I knew a spirit was hiding in the far corner, Johnny told me it`s the little girl, I mentioned it and the other medium agreed, that`s what she felt too. There are quite a few souls in the castle who seem to be afraid, Johnny said "They fear Henry", we assume he means King Henry 7th... I would like to find out more.

In another room we visited last week, the same thoughts came to me that I had last time, but when I had mentioned it, I was told "No, this was just a bedroom", so I didn`t say anything. Then the medium started telling about the room and it was exactly what I was feeling all along, that it was a room where the soldiers/guards would gather for some rather unpleasant and (in these days) criminal activities... so bad Johnny refuses to allow me to mention what they did!. In fact, just like last week, Johnny actually didn`t want me in that room, he was trying to protect me from the energy. As we were walking out of the room I heard male voices chanting something like "Kabama", they kept saying it over and over and it became very unpleasant. I felt they were mocking or threatening us, but Johnny said it was something they would gather around and chant during their activities, to egg each other on, I mentioned it and the other medium agreed!. It seemed intimidating and afterwards Johnny compared it to the New Zealand All Blacks "Haka"!. This is the same room where a pigeon has a nest in a crevice, she is still there, bless!.

Later we swapped around and our team went to the areas the other team went to earlier, and vice versa.
In one room I was asked "Are you sensing music and food?"... I said "Yes, but it`s more like singing, music by voice... although I feel there may be a fiddle or something like that. I also feel like a banquet type gathering, also wine and drinking, merrymaking. Also jesters and minstrels, entertainment...", It was all confirmed.

In another room I was asked "Are you sensing animals?". I said "Yes, I feel there were lots of sheep in here, also a milking cow or it could be a goat, I see something being milked. Also pigs, but they are for food... it`s like a living larder!". It was confirmed, and just before I went to say "There were chickens too" the other medium said it. There was a strong unwelcome presence in the room, which we knew wasn`t Sir Gawayne. Johnny said "He`s the shepherd of this flock, he thinks we are a threat to his livestock, thieves even!"... I mentioned it and we told him we were not intending harm, but he didn`t want us in there so we left.

In a tiny room, as soon as I walked in I had a vision of an axe... then the other medium said "I`m handing over to Karen & Johnny, what can you tell us about this room?". The problem was, apart from the axe, I couldn`t feel, see, hear or sense anything else. I said I felt it was maybe where they chopped wood or something, stored it even. This was wrong, but what had the axe meant?. I asked Johnny and he reluctantly showed me dead bodies, but only very briefly, I sensed he was protecting me from something and holding back information somewhat, which he has since confirmed. I said "It could have been like a morgue, I see bodies"... someone said "Did they lay them out in here?" and the other medium said "Eventually" then said it was a torture chamber and they would kill people in there, or injure them and leave them to die slowly. Johnny told me this was information he didn`t want me to have to encounter just yet... "Another time" he said, and made me leave the room. Afterwards because I felt awkward about giving incorrect information, Johnny did tell me they would use the axe to chop off fingers and even chop up their victims so they could dispose of them easier... but he wasn`t happy telling me about it.

Then we visited another room I didn`t see last time. As soon as I walked in I wanted to go to the window and look out, but someone else got there first. The other medium said Princess Nest had been held against her will in the room and would stand looking out of the window. I also felt another sort of negativity and sadness, but not to do with the princess, then we were told the babboon had also been trapped in the room and was very miserable and dangerously mentally disturbed by it.
I also felt there had been a fire, but just as I was about to mention it the other medium did.

In another room I felt something walking around me, and also felt like it rubbed against my leg. I shone my torch down to see and there was nothing there to be seen. I was asked what I was feeling so I said about it. "Is it an animal?" I was asked. "Yes, I feel it is" I said. I was just about to say I think it`s a cat when I was asked "Would you say it`s a cat?" "Yes" I said, adding "but semi wild, not domesticated like a pet... possibly kept in the castle to catch mice, I feel if I was to bend down to stroke it, it would either run away or go for me!"... "Yes, that`s right!" I was told.

When we returned to the Lesser Hall where we had set up base for the night (The Undercroft where we had base last week has now got bats in so it`s off limits), we all sat around for a seance, but apart from definate temperature drop, nothing happened. I and a couple of others felt there was a very nasty entity present but he wouldn`t come forward. Afterwards Johnny told me it was because we had placed adquate protection around and he didn`t like it, he was of a different energy vibration and our protection was too pure for him... besides, Johnny and Toyta (my angel) are excellent personal protectors for me. Also, Johnny would not allow me to step through the castle gate until I had performed my personal grounding and protection routine, and I had also been given a beautiful rose quartz crystal to carry with me for additional protection! (Thank you, it was greatly appreciated) :-)

Then we downloaded our photo`s onto the Spooks laptop, had a chat and discussed some of our experiences. When we were packing up someone discovered a banana which had been left on the stage as a trigger object experiment, had been moved - it was out of the outline which had been drawn around it, and the opposite way round... no-one had been near it all night!

In all another interesting event. Although there hadn`t been as much activity as last week, there was a lot of information coming through. Personally I had a lot more than previous times, but that is because I was actually working as one of the mediums rather than just being a team member. Johnny and I are currently in two paranormal groups, last week`s one is mainly a research group and mediumship is not part of the events, it`s all technical and scientific paranormal experiments.
Spooks on the other hand work slightly different and use mediumship as well as scientific and technical experiments.
Unfortunately this time we didn`t visit the mill, I would have liked to do so as it was extremely interesting last week.

Afterwards I was given a lift home by the husband of the lady in the shop who was the first Spooks member I met (I don`t put people`s names for privacy purposes), I am very grateful and wish to say Thank you so much :-)
