CRAIG Y NOS CASTLE

My first paranormal investigation took place 8th/9th May 2004, at Craig Y Nos Castle near Brecon ( about 10-15 minute drive from my house.) This beautiful old castle style mansion house was once owned by famous opera singer Adelina Patti, later to become a hospital for Tuberculosis (T.B) patients and then the elderly and chronically ill. This was a special paranormal event organised by Crystal Serenades to coincide with the launch of their great new book "When Darkness Comes". I was lucky enough to arrive earlier than most as I had a lift from Kelly and Chris of Crystal Serenades who live in my village, so I helped them set up the tables etc. We arrived around 8.30 am and the event itself began at 1pm and went right through to 7am the next day. I and three friends shared " The Attic Room "  in the accommodation block above the theatre. The room is reportedly once the dressing room of Adelina and quite "active" spiritually. During the day there were countless classes, lectures, demonstrations and trading stalls... in fact so much going on I forgot to eat! (lol) but I had a brilliant time. After midnight we "overnighters" split up into groups and went around the castle investigating, travelling around room to room in turn. I had already been given an amount of information and advice by my guides prior to the event, bit by bit it happened or was confirmed. I also had new important advice and information given to me during the course of the day from them. During the investigation I took lots of photo`s, which contain orbs and possibly even a spirit form in one. I personally picked up on a lot of spiritual activity, including hearing Adelina exercising her vocal chords in my room, seeing countless orbs with the naked eye and on camera, sensing a rather unfriendly presence in the upper derelict floors, as well as a nurse, another unfriendly presence in the cellar and backstage of the theatre, plus a little girl who fell from a window and a little boy playing in the castle and grounds. I also heard hooves when we went through what was once the stables, but couldn`t decide if it was spiritual or coming from the riding stables across the road!. I witnessed one lady in our group being possessed three times, it was a very unpleasant experience and she was exausted. The spirit had entered via a tear it made in her aura around her back, and was extremely difficult to get out of her. In the end Medium Andrew Garley was called to see if he could help her, he had a very difficult fight on his hands as the lady was quickly falling into unconciousness, but thankfully he won and saved her from a nasty spiritual attack... so on her behalf I wish to thank Andrew for leaving his investigation temporarily and helping out. ( In fact this part of the event had been predicted to me over a week before the event by my guide Al, but being a beginner I took his message and turned it into one very slightly different... I thought he had said "Beware of a bad spirit they call Andrew", but he must have said "Beware of a bad spirit, they call Andrew" !... well... I was close! ). My friend Babs gave me a lift home after breakfast on the 9th... we arrived at my house about 10am.
