EASY~PEASY TRIPLE MIRROR |
Paint Shop Pro Tutorials by Karen |
This mirror started out when I tubed a photo of my own dressing table mirror. I had to replace the glass with gradient to remove unwanted reflections- inevitably present in a photo!. I then wondered if I might be able to make a digital version from scratch, so I tried, and this tutorial was born! This is how I made my triple mirror... Before we begin, You will need my files... CLICK HERE to download the zip. Unzip the "kktmirrorsels" selections folder into your PSP Selections folder, the "kkwhitegold" gradient into your gradients folder and the "kkpine" fill pattern to your patterns folder. |
Ready ?.... Lets begin... Start a new image as in fig 1 |

Go selections / load from disk, and open "kkmirrors.sel. Set your foreground to pattern and load "kkpine" as in fig 2 / 2a |

Use the flood fill tool and click inside the selection to fill with pine effect. Now go effects / 3D effects / inner bevel and apply as fig 3. |

Go selections / select none. Add a new layer ( layers / new raster layer / ok) Now go selections / load from disk and open "kkmirrorframe.sel" Repeat the flood fill and inner bevel as before then deselect. You should have something like fig 4. |

Add a new layer then go selections / load from disk and open "kkmirrorglass.sel". Change your foreground to gradient and load "kkwhitegold" as in fig 5 / 5a |

Flood fill inside the selections then deselect. Go layers / merge / merge visible. Resize to your preference ( the sample below is 50%) go image / sharpen / sharpen. That`s it... your very own triple dressing table mirror. Tube it, save it, use it... best of all...you can`t break it!!! Enjoy. |
