I visited this magnificent old manor house with my family on 30th August 2004.
I knew it is definately a haunted location and it has been on my "Want to visit" list for a long time.
Being a bank holiday it was a little bit too busy to really concentrate and "feel" the energy properly.
However, I did get the feeling of being watched in a few rooms, my sleeve being tugged as if by a playful child,
see moving shapes out of the corner of my eye which was "nothing" when I looked round,
hear a man say "I`m the Colonel" and hear footsteps on stone stairs.
I also got a lot of orbs in photos and what could be a small child figure on the stairs where I heard the footsteps,
which is where child spirits are known to play at jumping up and down the stairs and also stand watching people from!.
I most definately wish to do a proper investigation here, and also plan to do one of their "Ghost Tours" as well.

This location has been featured on Living TV`s "Most Haunted" with my favourite TV Medium Derek Acorah.
Derek also picked up on the Colonel (Colonel Edward Pritchard) and the children,
Also the housekeeper and a visiting King!.
