RAPPING Rapping is another of the mediumship methods which could easily be mistaken as a trick or party game, but like all forms of spiritual contact, should never be treated as such. For Rapping, ideally performed by a medium or experienced psychic, spirit is invited to communicate via knocking sounds. "Yes" or "No" questions are asked. Usually one knock means "Yes" and two mean "No". Spirit will come forward and knock or "rap" according to their answers to the questions being asked. The rapping may be slight or hard to hear either at first or throughout the sitting, or may be clear loud knocks. They can come from any part of the room, spirit will use all sorts of locations to rap... door, wall, furniture, window, floor, ceiling, any item which can produce sound can be used by spirit!
