Johnny (Spectrum) and I (Rainbow) are genuine true Soulmates/Twinflames.

Soulmates/Twinflames are two separate beings from one soul that was created and then separated into two halves
as male and female. These two halves are then destined to travel into earthly incarnations many times over,
to learn, grow and evolve spiritually. They would meet in their many lifetimes, often to be together as husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend, lovers or partners in life... occasionally may be related as close family members or best friends. Reunion in life may be immediate (Twins) or take some years, but normally all incarnations lead to eventual meeting.

Soulmates/Twinflames always recognise each other upon first meeting... usually the eyes are recognised first, followed closely by the energy recognition. The eyes and spiritual energy are always the same in every incarnation, even if
everything else isn`t, although normally the physical resemblance lifetime after lifetime is spookily uncanny!.
They may not realise immediately that they are Soulmates/Twinflames, although it has been known... but they will
always "know" they have met before, even if they haven`t previously ever met in this particular lifetime!.
When that inevitable recognition hits you, it hits hard!. You will not be able to deny it, you will know unmistakeably
without a doubt that you have met your Soulmate/Twinflame, and your life will never be the same again!.

You only have one true Soulmate/Twinflame. You also have a "Soul Family" (Kindred Spirits) and feel a very close bond with them, but it will be nothing like on the scale of a Soulmate/Twinflame bond. Sometimes the same family of souls will incarnate together over and over, but Soulmates/Twinflames will always incarnate with or for each other and normally eventually reunite. Often circumstances may prevent Soulmates/Twinflames from being together, but a close bond will exist which they will not be able to ignore and they will keep in touch if they can`t be together. Often if one is already in a relationship when they meet, the Soulmate/Twinflame attraction will be such that they will eventually find they cannot remain apart and will want to be together at all costs. Soulmates/Twinflames are created from the same soul,
they are made for each other and to be together, once that recognition has taken place,
the electrifying magnetic chemistry between them is impossible to resist and ignore!.

When Johnny and I first encountered each other in this life, we recognised each other by the eyes first.
By this alone we "knew" we already knew each other, but didn`t realise what it all meant or exactly how we knew
each other until sadly after he had died and we communicated and began our spiritual partnership.
Johnny was then in the position to be able to learn about us and tell me.
Everything he told me about us, past lifetimes together etc, I knew was true, because as he told me things,
I "saw" what he was telling me, like I was actually there!. Everything made sense and things that had happened
in my life started to fall into place and complete the "story" my life had been writing!.
I also recognised things he said like names, places etc... yet I hadn`t yet encountered any of it this life!.

In this lifetime our paths had met occasionally in the strangest of places and circumstances... and each time the electrifying chemistry between us was impossible to ignore, but we were both too shy to do anything about it.
We both thought there was plenty of time and no need to rush, thinking maybe when we meet next we will get to know each other... but sadly fate had other ideas and unfortunately for us there wasn`t plenty of time, this time!.

If, as in our case, one Soulmate/Twinflame dies, he or she will remain with the one left on earth until they are reunited
in the spirit world. They will guide, protect and accompany their loved one through life, whether or not the living one is spiritually minded and actually knows this. If the living one is spiritual in nature they will invariably know their loved one is with them and may communicate with them, visit with them in the astral plain or be visited by them in dreams, meditation
and waking vision. They may even be lucky enough to have a spiritual relationship like us, until the time is right to be reunited in spirit. The partner in spirit will not be able to reincarnate until they are both in spirit.
It is only then they will be able to decide what will happen next and what their destiny for the next life will be.
Although it`s hard to imagine why, Johnny and I had agreed to this lifetime before we came into it.
Everything was meant to happen as it did and has served to empower us with great knowledge, and has greatly reinforced our bond so that we can go into eternity together knowing that nothing and no-one can ever part us.
Our agreement had been that Johnny would leave this plain early and walk with me in spirit until our permanent eternal reunion. He is a more spiritually evolved soul than me, so I have to catch up with him so we can finally be together.
Eventually Soulmates/Twinflames reach their final incarnation and will remain in spirit together for all eternity.
Johnny and I have now reached our final incarnations, providing I manage to catch up with him spiritually!.

Recently someone shared a wonderful piece of writing via the internet, but although I wholly agreed with what had been written and recognised that it could easily have been written about Johnny and myself, the writer had used the word "Twinflames" to describe our kind of love, and wrote that "Soulmates" describes a soul group, or what Johnny and I call "Soul Family" or "Kindred Spirits". The piece said one person can have many Soulmates but only one Twinflame.
Johnny and I grew up knowing only the word "Soulmate", neither of us had ever heard the word "Twinflame".
We prefer to call ourselves Soulmates (especially since I have a twin sister in spirit and prefer to avoid the word Twin when talking of Johnny and me to save confusion). However, when we heard of "Twinflames" we researched it and by what we read we realised it means exactly the same thing, what was written could easily have been about us!.
So now we will often refer to ourselves as "Soulmates/Twinflames", because for us there is no difference!.

Johnny explained that it`s down to a person`s individual preference, location and belief, neither is wrong, both words mean the same thing. I since realised that people here in UK I have talked to about this kind of love, or who have spoken to me about their own relationship saying "he/she is/was my Soulmate", the word Twinflame was never mentioned.
In most cases we have come across it does not appear to be a UK terminology!.
