Totem Animals, or Animal Guides, are something everyone has, but not everyone is aware of them.
You can have several animal guides, but like with your "people" guides there is one main one that stays with you, and then there are his/her helpers who come and go as and when needed.
My own "Head" animal guide is a stunning red-brown bay horse who is identical to one of my favourite riding horses "Charlie" who I ride a lot. (The one that shared the rainbow experience I had, when riding and the rainbow landed directly in our path and we had to go through it, to me it is even more significant
and meaningful that it was Charlie I was riding then, of all the horses I ride!)
My Head Guide Spectrum told me about my horse guide recently and the very next day the horse came to meet me when I was relaxing, and took me on an astral journey to meet with Spectrum. I was told the horse`s name but am ashamed to admit I am having trouble remembering it (It`s a very complicated name for me to remember.) I have often dreamed of buying Charlie from his owner should he ever be for sale, and would like to call him "Red" since he is such a rich red-brown and it would suit him better. So I asked if I can call my horse guide "Red", at least until I can remember his name, I have been told I can so that`s what I call him :-)
I know someone who has 11 animal guides. I have always been someone able to get on with animals, domesticated and wild alike, so wouldn`t be surprised if I have that many,
but currently I am only aware of a few of them:

Horse, Fox, Owl, Swan, Black Panther.

It is also possible to have a "fantasy beast" as an animal guide. These mystical creatures may not exist in the 3D world but they do exist in the astral world. I myself have a magnificent "Unipeg" (Horned Pegasus) called "Great Moon" who collects me for astral travel when I need to go a great distance to get to my destination.

but as I want to use only my own photography, I won`t be able to add them all
until I have the photo`s I need!. Here they are so far...
